Who is your candidate?

2016 Republican presidential candidates If the 2016 Presidential election was held today, who would you vote for?  I have to say that I am glad that it is not being held today because honestly if it was, I am not sure who I would vote for.  Yes, I am undecided right now, which is really rare for me.  The problem is that from the Republican side, we really do have some good choices.  So it like trying to figure out who to pick as the best of the best.  This indeed is the best candidates we have had to choose from in years.

At one point I was 100% behind Scott Walker, but he of course has dropped out now.  Too bad, I really think he would have made a good president.

So now, I am undecided, but I do have it narrowed down to three at this point.

  1. Ted Cruz
  2. Dr. Ben Carson
  3. Donald Trump

And those are not in any particular order.  I will have to continue to see how things play itself out.  Each one has their own positives and negatives.  But none the less, even their worst negative traits well outweigh the positive traits of the democrats socialist candidate Bernie Sanders or the soon to be indited Hillary Clinton.

I also can say that I definitely will not vote for Rand Paul, Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Marco Rubio or any RINO under any circumstances.

Maybe you can help me decide by sharing your opinion on my final three picks or your pick even if it is not my final three, but sharing your input on who would make the best president given the situation we find ourselves in today.

  1. I have only considered one candidate since this circus began, Ted Cruz. Carson has been a surprise option since I had not given him a chance as a result of how bad a mess the current president is doing. i actually thought that it would impact his chances. I am suspicious of Trump. The pros about him are: a successful business man; I like WHAT he’s saying about immigration, our military, and our country. The cons: I feel he’s a plant. I’m seeing too many politicians calling themselves Republicans/Conservatives, but acting and voting Democrat/Liberal. I suspect the Dems have implemented a strategy to appeal to conservatives via Trump only to claim a victory in the next administration.
